Upright Bass Endpins
This is the Ulsa Premium bass endpin made in Germany. In the
past, these have gone under different names (Götz),
but have all been made by the same German firm for more than two
generations. The shafts are hardened steel and made to last forever.
The endpin shafts are also threaded for a heavy duty rubber endpin
stopper. The shaft tips can be sharpened and last for many years,
before anyone ever has to replace it. Even so, the ebony plug and
hardware will still be good and usually the shaft is only needed. The
rubber tips last long on these, though most people like to use them
more in transport so as not to dull the pin, taking it off on stage.
These are the exactly the same endpins that we put on our famous
Wan-Bernadel basses, the Rogeri
model and the rest of our special very valuable basses.
For
most players, 99% will only need the regular, 15" shaft length.
If you are super tall and need a longer shaft because you stand while
you play, we now have the 18" ones, for $5 extra.
