La Bella upright bass strings

We now offer La Bella upright bass strings.  They are made in America and have some loyal customers.  The Supernils have always been popular with the Rockabilly players (on a budget).  Also, the black tape wounds were made popular by famous jazz bassist Ron Carter who helped La Bella design them. 

Tapewounds: Players and fans of Ron will recall on many of the famous VSOP (Herbie Hancock) recordings, the tempos being quite fast for long periods of time. These strings are definitely easier to play on that way. They are lower tension, easier on the hands and still have lots of sustain.
