Upright Bass Method and Study by Mark Morton

We were told by Dr. Morton that all of his bass books are being re-printed now.  While we only have a few books in stock now (shown below), we will quickly update this page once we receive the new stock from him. 

There are other (better) Etude and Method books still being printed that we carry on other pages on our website.  Here's a brief list of methods that are commonly ordered and still very popular:

• Storche Hrabe, both Volumes I and II
• Hrabe, both volumes I and II
• Kruetzer, 18 Studies
• Gradus Parnassum (Simandl), volumes 1 and 2 (this one a bit more challenging than the above books)

While the abolve mentioned books are certainly very good, they are strictly playing (studies), without any explanations or photos.  These 3 books (below) are amazingly extensive and thorough.  They have extensive playing examples to try, practical topics regarding posture, bow balance etc...
