The Reunion Blues upright bass bow cases have
been around a while. You don't see them too often today, because
they cost more than average and because there's a dirge of cheap bow
cases to chose from.
People like to buy cheap cases, but they don't last long and break
down. The two best bow cases today, are these Reunion Blues cases
and the hard bow cases by Bobelock.These are great.
Easy to carry and use, and they are very well made, very durable
cases. While they are obviously made from leather, it is a
very thick and sturdy 'serious' leather and they are reinforced with
a metal rod to protect the bow from getting bent. Inside the
case is nylon lined with a zipper all around the case. It's
just a well made, great bow case to have. These are made to last a
lifetime.
Also, while not shown, there is a nice compartment (on the back
side) of the case that lets you keep a cake of rosin in it.
These can fit either1 German or 1 French bow and there is no need
to order special model fit.
While Bobelock cases fit nicely into your bass cover pocket,
these too are sporty and nice to use if you are carrying your bow
out and about frequently.
